Danny Boyle's decade-defining adaptation of Irvine Welsh's Trainspotting celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026, and is heading back to cinemas from 21 August in a 4K restoration, supported by anniversary artwork (above, exclusively revealed by Film4) and 4K trailer (available in DCP).
Trainspotting is further supported by physical quads and special giveaway items (both in limited quantities). Plus: the re-release kicks off with a celebratory screening and club night event at Leith Theatre as part of Edinburgh International Film Festival, with Ewan McGregor, Irvine Welsh, and more in attendance.
