A mind is a terrible thing to waste...

Since 2003, Park Circus has been passionate about the big screen experience. Over the last few weeks, we've been taking the opportunity to ask ourselves what it is about those darkened, velvet-clad auditoriums that is so magical, and what films we will be rushing to see the moment it is safe to do so.

We are thrilled to finally be supporting the reopening of cinemas when it is safe to do so, with a specially curated, highly flexible selection of some of the very best well-loved classics and proven favourites from across the decades with our For the Love of Cinema package, spanning from Casablanca to Call Me By Your Name.

We're also proud to represent over 25,000 films from all the major Hollywood and British studios, and in the coming weeks – as cinemas safely reopen – we will be celebrating the magic of the big screen experience, taking a closer look at what it means to all of us, as well as taking a dive into our catalogue.

Throughout October we'll be tapping into the concept of ESCAPE within film. Fiction has an important role to play in our lives. From a very young age we love to hear fairy tales and stories about fantasy worlds beyond our imagining. Movies are no differrent. Films have always allowed audiences to escape their problems for an hour or two: no art form is better at transporting us to a more enchanting and consoling reality than our own.

On our channels we’ll be exploring films that have created their own unbelievable worlds into which we love to escape, larger than life iconic characters and unique aesthetics, at first glance far removed from our own, but with narratives and behaviours that are surprisingly recognisable. At a time when escaping from the everyday has never felt so tempting, but also whilst we remain starved of human connection, film - and the notion of escape - have never felt so necessary.

Stay tuned for exciting video content, interviews, posters, further dives into the archives, and guest picks from friends from across the industry.
