Regina Schlagnitweit: Bring Me The Head Of Alfredo Garcia (1974, Sam Peckinpah).
PC: What is your earliest memory of seeing it?
RS: 1983, right after finishing high school, in a fleabag cinema in the outskirts of Vienna. I discovered the big city and fell in love with Warren Oates although he spoke (dubbed) German. Years later I saw the film again, this time in English - but the print kept disintegrating before my eyes due to vinegar syndrome, as I found out later. Finally, In September 2010, a nice looking 35mm print from Park Circus screened at the Austrian Film Museum.
