New Prints of Two Buster Keaton Classics

New Prints of Two Buster Keaton Classics

We have new 35mm prints available now of two Buster Keaton classics:

Sherlock Jr. (1924, 45 mins) Buster plays a movie projectionist who daydreams himself into the movies he is showing and merges with the figures and the backgrounds on the screen. While dreaming he is Conan Doyle's master detective, he snoops out brilliant discoveries.

Steamboat Bill Jr. (1928, 75 mins) The son of a steamboat captain, Buster falls in love with the daughter of a rival steamboat owner. The picture culminates with a cyclone in which a two-storey building comes crashing down with Buster, as usual, oblivious to his peril until a few seconds after he might have escaped harm's way.
