Filmpodium der Stad Zürich in Switzerland is running an extensive Buster Keaton Season in October 2010.
Buster Keaton (1895-1966) was an American comic actor and filmmaker, famous for his trademark porkpie hat, slapshoes and deadpan expression.
Audiences at Filmpodium will be treated to 19 popular silent classics, with the following highlights included in the programme: hilarious comedy THE NAVIGATOR, family feud saga OUR HOSPITALITY, SHERLOCK JR, which sees Buster playing a daydreaming movie projectionist, and funny, romantic riverboat adventure STEAMBOAT BILL JR.
