Park Circus is delighted to re-release Prick Up Your Ears, Stephen Frears' rollicking Joe Orton biopic, in the UK and Ireland from 4 August.
Prick Up Your Ears stars Gary Oldman as Orton, the provocative playwright who went from working class Leicester lad to the toast of London's swinging art scene in the 1960s. This release marks 50 years since Orton's untimely death at the hands of his long term partner, Kenneth Halliwell, and the 50th anniversary of the 1967 Sexual Offences Act which was passed just weeks before.
