Following an exclusive reveal by Little White Lies, we're pleased to share the new marketing materials for Prick Up Your Ears, currently gracing cinema foyers and screens across the UK and Ireland ahead of the film's release on 4 August.

Our new poster artwork nods towards the collage that adorned Joe Orton and Kenneth Halliwell's small Islington flat, while the title treatment - suggestively arranged, of course - incorporates elements of the red neon signage that advertised Orton's plays in theatres across London.
30 years after its first release, and 50 years after the death of its subject, Prick Up Your Ears is returning to cinemas on 4 August as part of the BFI's Gross Indecency season.
Stephen Frears - director of My Beautiful Laundrette and The Queen - created a queer classic with this outrageous biography of playwright and provocateur, Joe Orton. Gary Oldman gives a memorable performance in the lead role and receives more than capable support from an all-star British cast that includes Alfred Molina, Vanessa Redgrave and Julie Walters.
