The Orphanage (El Orfanato)

A tale of love. A story of horror. Returning to her beloved childhood home by the Spanish seaside, Laura Jenkins has dreams of now turning it into an orphanage for disabled children. It will take some work, and her husband, Carlos, and her son, Simon, are certainly up for the task. But soon after arriving, seven-year old Simon starts having "imaginary" friends — friends he claims are masked children who roam the dark hallways of the manor. When Simon goes missing, Laura is forced to confront the demons of her childhood and the evil which now wishes to tear her family apart. "There will be moments so tense, you'll need to calm yourself by saying it's only a movie!" Time Magazine
