BOOMERANG! is a gripping crime drama directed by Elia Kazan, the legendary director of such films as On the Waterfront and East of Eden. The film is based on the true story of the 1924 murder of Father Hubert Dahme, a religious leader in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and the subsequent arrest and trial of an itinerant drifter for the murder.
