Spite Marriage

Enthralled by a glamorous stage player, Elmer Gantry, a humble worker at a dry cleaners, borrows his customer’s fine clothes to visit the theatre and watch her perform. When the tempestuous actress splits from her lover and co-star, she impulsively marries Elmer but almost immediately begins to regret it.
