Comfort and Joy

Dumped by his partner a few days before Christmas and struggling to find meaning in his life, radio host Alan Bird goes for a drive to take his mind off of his troubles.

After witnessing an ice cream van being attacked and destroyed by an angry competitor, Alan unwittingly finds himself in the middle of a turf war over who controls Glasgow’s ice cream supply. Intrigued by the unusual conflict, he throws himself into the story as a means of turning his career and his fortunes around.
