St. Louis Blues

This jazz short tells the story of a woman (Bessie Smith, the legendary blues singer), who is deserted by her boyfriend for a St. Louis floozy. She then sings the title song which is arranged elaborately into a ten-minute presentation, with dancing sequences and a chorus by the Hall Johnson Choir.
