Carla’s Song
Carla's Song is the story of the love affair between George Lennox, a Glaswegian bus driver and Carla Delgado, a Nicaraguan refugee.
George is a sharp, young Glaswegian with an irrepressible sense of mischief which repeatedly gets him into trouble with his bosses at the bus company. Carla enters his life by fare-dodging on his bus and, captivated by her dark beauty and vulnerability, he pursues her through the streets of Glasgow. She is frightened and deeply disturbed by some appalling events in her past. George's irresistible charm and compassion gradually win her trust and he persuades her to go back to Nicaragua with him to confront her past.
