Zoo Baby

Pip, the young son of a big-game hunter in Africa, is sent to school in England. On arriving to live with his Aunt, he is very unimpressed by England’s lack of space and animals. One day he is taken to the local zoo, where he feels infinitely more at home. There he spies a coati-mundi, a raccoon-like creature that he explains to his Aunt was the kind of pet he kept at home. Mesmerised, he returns to the zoo and happens to be there when the Coati-mundi makes a bid for escape. Catching it, he decides to take it home. That, however, is only the beginning of his worries.
