The Man Who Liked Funerals

Simon Hurd is a youth leader who must raise £4000 to save the Keeley Street Boys’ Club. When his employer remarks that books by celebrities sell well, he concocts an ingenious plan. After attending the funeral of a famous person, he then writes a scandalous ‘autobiography’ and presents it to the relatives who pay him not to publish it. The money starts pouring in and everything is running smoothly until he pens a book by a local mobster who is actually still alive!
