It Happened in Rome

Margaret is a shy English girl driving her expensive sports car across Europe for a holiday in Italy. Crossing the Italian border, she picks up two hitch-hikers, and when the car runs out of petrol, the girls are forced to push it. Her holiday takes a new turn, however, when the car runs down a hill and over a cliff! Margaret is eventually persuaded to join up with the two girls and continue her holiday as a hitch-hiker. This leads to the three adventuring around the beautiful sights of Italy, falling in love with the place and its inhabitants.
