The Stepfather

Jerry Blake (Terry O'Quinn) is a man psychotically fascinated by the perfect family. He marries the attentive Susan Maine (Shelley Hack) and becomes stepfather to Susan's 16-year-old daughter Stephanie (Jill Schoelen). Stephanie is uneasy with Jerry's behaviour and although he pretends to be the ideal dad, she glimpses his repressed violence and concludes he might be the same man who, a year earlier, murdered his family. Her instincts are right and with his perfect life fast disappearing, the stepfather embarks on a violent crescendo of killings which includes plans to kill Susan and Stephanie...
