Elegant and eccentric, Holly Golightly lives off the gifts of gentlemen bewitched by her playgirl charm and searches Manhattan’s socialite circles for a millionaire to marry. After meeting her new neighbour, Paul Varjak - a struggling writer and “kept” man financed by a steely older woman - the pair strike up a friendship which soon develops and threatens the delicate balance of both of their compromised lives.
